Habitat for Humanity New River Valley hosts their first Virtual Luncheon on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

Pack a lunch or grab a quick bite, and join us at noon as we celebrate the Townhomes on Church Street in Blacksburg, VA. Hosted by Executive Director, Jim Drader and Resource Development Director, Kim Snider.

Habitat for Humanity NRV serves Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski counties and Radford City. We work side by side with our neighbors to build safe and affordable housing which helps communities to thrive. One in three households in our service area is “cost-burdened” – paying over 30% of monthly income to cover housing costs. Habitat NRV helps families free themselves from this statistic. These families are building and buying their homes at cost, with a low- or no- interest mortgage. We control the cost of our homes with donated materials and volunteer labor. Everyone needs a foundation to build a better future.
