Virginia Tech's Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise hosts a Drive-Thru Food & Pet Donation for New River Valley Agency on Aging on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine parking lot from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
The COVID Crushers are assisting the New River Valley Agency on Aging in collecting food and pet items for home bound older adults in the New River Valley.
Food Items Needed:
• Dog & Cat Food (canned or dry, preferably 5 lb bags)
• Cat Litter
• Peanut Butter (smooth, not crunchy)
• Saltines
• Canned Vegetables & Soups (tomato, chicken noodle & vegetable, low sodium with pull top tabs)
• Canned Tuna (pull top can or tear fold packs)
• Juice Boxes (any variety)
• Instant Oatmeal (box of single serve packets)
• Mac & Cheese Bowls (single serve)
• Fruit Cups (any variety, low sugar, no added sugar)
• Other Non-Perishable Items
The Vet School parking lot is located at 205 Duck Pond Drive in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
