A Vintage Year (Band)
Biography:
A Vintage Year is a progressive alt-rock power trio that hit the music scene in 2015. With hints of several different influences across genres, great chemistry and presence on stage, A Vintage Year brings a fiery and original rock ‘n roll presence to the music scene.
A Vintage Year consists of Joe Williams (vocals/bass), Jordan Barney (guitar), and Nick Manka (drums). Joe is originally from Houston, TX, but moved to Rochester in 2012, looking to form a rock band.
Unknowingly all three of the artists were in different bands in the same practice space. Jordan was playing in a death metal band, Nick drummed for an indie-rock group, and Joe had a number of original and cover groups. Joe found Jordan through a Craig’s List ad, and then Jordan recruited Nick.
