Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. is partnering with the RAFT Crisis Hotline for a Cash Mob on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:02 pm meeting in the National Bank of Blacksburg parking lot in downtown Blacksburg. Participants will learn of the location of the Cash Mob once they have been assembled and will then celebrate at a locally operated restaurant. Additionally all participants are encouraged to bring one inch binders to donate to the RAFT Crisis Hotline for their training manuals. The event is rain or shine. All are welcome! Rules of the event: • Meet 3 new people • Spend $20 • Support local businesses • HAVE FUN!!! The Cash Mobs go to a local business on a specific date and time and give them an extraordinary time of patronage! Afterwards, we'll all go and get to know each other over a drink or snack at one of our local watering holes! No need to spend a ton of money, but just join in by being a patron of any level.
