622 North welcomes The Black Cadillacs from Knoxville, Tennesse to the stage on Saturday, June 29th. The show begins around 10 pm. The Black Cadillacs have a certain quality to their sound that resists simple categorization, but entices the listener with tracks that span from contemplative subtle ballads, to riffy blues-rock, to neo-psychedelic jams. The band lists a diverse array of influences from classic bands like the Rolling Stones, The Who, and Pink Floyd, to more modern bands like Jack White, Wilco, and My Morning Jacket. 2012 saw the Cadillacs’ first label release “Run,” described as a “…veritable tapestry of lush blues and Southern soul….” (Mike Gibson, Metropulse).
