The Outdoor Classroom continues the 2013 Summer Nature Series with a presentation and activity titled: "Adams Cave Adventure: Wildwood Park’s Unique Treasure" on Thursday, June 27th led by Radford High Biology teacher Frank Taylor and cave volunteers. After a brief introduction to caving, we will hike up to the entrance of Adams cave. Children under twelve are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Expect to be on hands and knees to enter larger rooms. Dress appropriately: Flashlights, long pants (jeans) and work gloves recommended. Park at the Main Entrance to Wildwood Park at Main/Grove or the Sundell/Park Road lot. It is a 5 minute walk to the classroom in the center of the park.
