2nd Annual Pulaski Jazz & Ribfeast:

Date: July 29, 2016
Time: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Venue: Jackson Park
Organizations: Hoppie Vaughan, The Billy Crawford Band
Description: The 2nd Annual Pulaski Jazz & Ribfeast will be held in Jackson Park on Friday, July 29, 2016.

Situated in downtown Pulaski, the Jazz & Ribfeast features great jazz acts and fantastic eats by regionally acclaimed "rib burners". This year’s mind-blowing lineup includes local favorites The Billy Crawford Band and Hoppie Vaughan and the Ministers of Soul as well as Roanoke’s own Legendary Jane Powell.

And, JAZZ, wouldn’t be Jazz, without the cool sounds by Virginia’s own, J. Plunky Branch. Branch is a nationally-known recording artist and Judy Ison was able to secure him for our festival through the Virginia Commission for the Arts Touring Assistance Grant Program.

Festivities include food vendors, adult beverages, with an emphasis on rib and barbecue vendors. Other activities include arts & craft vendors, cruise in, children’s activities, entertainment and more. The day’s festivities begin at 11 am and end at 10 pm.

Enjoy lots of cool jazz and even more hot ribs than last year!

Admission is free. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and sunscreen.
