Description: New River Community College will host a concert by Grammy nominated bluegrass duo Dailey and Vincent on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in 117 Edwards Hall on their Dublin, VA campus.

Five-time Grammy award winners individually, three-time Grammy award nominees collectively, four-time DOVE Award Winners, and winners of 35 IBMA Awards altogether (including 3-time IBMA Entertainer of the Year Award winners and 3-Time Vocal Group of the Year Award winners), Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent, backed by one of the best bands on tour today, are some of the most reputable and elite entertainers in American music including bluegrass, traditional country and gospel music.

Both Dailey and Vincent were raised in musical families and have played bluegrass music since they were children. Jamie Dailey has worked with Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver as lead vocalist, baritone and tenor singer, bass player, and guitarist and has recorded with Dolly Parton and Rhonda Vincent.

Darrin Vincent began playing and singing bluegrass music as a child with his family band, The Sally Mountain Show alongside his sister, Rhonda Vincent. He was a member of Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder and has performed and recorded with artists including Dolly Parton, Nora Jones, Emmylou Harris, Earl Scruggs, Vince Gill, Keith Urban and more.
