Chateau Morrisette presents the annual Black Dog Beach Music Festival on Saturday, August 12, 2017. The Black Dog Beach Music Festival welcomes you with Chateau Morrisette wine tastings and sales by the glass or bottle, beers on tap, food, art, and craft vendors and of course an afternoon of beach music to get you and your friends moving! Steve Owens and Summertime opens the festival, with The Dancing Chicken Band at mid-day and headliners The Entertainers. Conceived in the summer of 2012, Roanoke, Virginia's The Dancing Chicken Band combines acoustic pop and rock with a hint of country and reggae, from the styles of Jason Mraz to Sister Hazel, Phillip Phillips to Zac Brown, mixing originals along the way. The Dancing Chicken Band is comprised of Cre Creasy on guitar and lead vocals and Jamie Forrest on drums and vocals.
