Sapphire Ballroom & Dance Center presents Beginner Dance Workshop: Merengue & Carolina Shag on Friday, April 21, 2017. Come out to Sapphire Ballroom to try something new, meet some cool people, and learn a skill that you will enjoy for years to come. In 90 minutes, for less than the cost of a movie, the friendly instructors at Sapphire will teach you the basics of Merengue (the ultimate Latin party dance) and Carolina Shag (the groovy dance from the beaches of North and South Carolina). We will finish the fun with a small taste of the classic Waltz. Come on your own or plan to meet friends, either way you're sure to have a great time. All dances taught from the beginning, so no experience or commitment is required. Singles, couples and groups welcome.
