The Boys & Girls Youth Center of Pulaski County present a special fundraising event as part of the GiveBigNRV Event on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Randolph Park under the large pavilion in Dublin, VA. We will be hosting our event in Randolph Park under the large pavilion. Bring the whole family out to enjoy the park while supporting this community changing project. The Boys & Girls Youth Center will be serving hot dogs, chips, drinks and dessert. Bring the whole family out and support this community changing project. The Boys & Girls Youth Center is a grassroots non-profit organization supporting the youth of Pulaski County. Our mission is to inspire and empower the youth of Pulaski County. We plan to do this by providing a safe and supportive after-school program. With coordinated activities that academically, physically and mentally allow the youth to reach their fullest potential. GiveBigNRV is a website designed to encourage charitable giving in the New River Valley and to promote the dozens of nonprofit organizations serving our region. Although the GiveBigNRV site is active year-round, we encourage charitable giving by hosting an online giving day each April. For a full 24 hours, donors are encouraged to give a minimum of $10 to the organization or fund of their choice. The CFNRV broadly promotes the giving day, and individual nonprofit organizations are responsible for promoting their particular profile pages. To incentivize this, the CFNRV offers grants and prizes to organizations on the giving day based on the amount of money they raise, the number of unique donors to their page, and more.
