Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro presents their Four Corners Dinner Series featuring the East Region of France on Friday, April 28, 2017. Take your taste buds on a culinary journey with our dinner series "Les Quatre Coins de France" (The Four Corners of France). The second dinner will celebrate the distinct regional flavors of Alsace, in the eastern part of the country. Eastern Region Dinner Menu: • Frogs Legs: Sautéed frogs’ legs, served with fresh spinach in a sauce of garlic, parsley, butter and white wine. • Organic Chicken Ballantine à la Bière: A whole, deboned chicken stuffed with Cognac and herb-flavored ground veal and pork, cooked in beer and served with broccolini and Spätzle. • Endive Salad with Blue Cheese and Walnuts: Fresh endive leaves sprinkled with blue cheese, walnuts, and a vinaigrette. • Alsatian Dessert: Special dessert prepared by our very own French pastry chef. All dinners in the Four Corners Dinner Series will feature European-style courses and a carafe of select red or white wine from the featured region.
