The 33rd Pearisburg Festival in the Park will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 and Saturday, June 17, 2017 on the grounds of the Pearisburg Community Center. Friday Entertainment Line-Up: • 6:00 pm: Musician Glen Shelton • 8:45 pm: The Crossroads Band This year promises to be one of the best ever! Enjoy an excellent showcase of regional talent who will take the stage on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday, also enjoy the Flag Ceremony. Also included with the festival are rides for all ages, food, vendors, The Farm Experience for kids, crafters and a few surprises and maybe even another fireworks display on Saturday evening! Admission is free and all are welcome. Glen Shelton is a musician based in Amherst County, Virginia that has performed across the mid-atlantic region. Most of Glen’s performances include popular country music (cover songs) as well as a few of his original songs. His show is very high energy and entertaining, and also very professional and suitable for all ages. Glen has performed at hundreds of outdoor events and has worked with more than 40 national acts including Lonestar and Joe Nichols.
