Chateau Morrisette continues their 2017 Sunday Sounds with Highland Jazz on Sunday, July 2, 2017. The Highlands Jazz Quintet was formed in 2010 by a diverse group of musicians who all have in common a love for historical and modern jazz. Highlands Jazz plays jazz standards and modern jazz in a variety of line-ups including a trio and quintet. The group features Justin Craig on guitar, Paul Deck on piano, Lou Madsen on sax, Bill Ray on drums and Nick Romantini on bass. Highland Jazz has performed at the Moss Arts Center, Steppin' Out, the Salem Jazz Festival, The Taubman Museum and at many other local venues and events. Every Sunday June through October 2017, enjoy award-winning wines, breathtaking views from the Blue Ridge, and an eclectic array of musical artists performing on Chateau Morrisette's Winery Courtyard. Featuring jazz every first Sunday. Sunday Sounds admission is free and wine and light café fare and wine by the glass and/or bottle will be available for purchase. We suggest bringing seating as the dance tent tables may fill up.
