The YMCA at Virginia Tech presents Y Hikes at Bald Knob on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Mountain Lake Lodge. Join us for the first YHike, to the Bald Knob summit and then back on Homestead Trail for a total of four miles. Master Naturalist Steve Hulburt will lead the hike and be available to answer any questions you may have about the flora and fauna surrounding the trail. Admission is free and all are welcome. We'll meet at Mountain Lake Lodge in Pembroke, VA. Directions: As you approach the hotel on Route 700, turn right into the second lane to the parking area in front of the lodge (don't take the first right into the registration area). We'll meet at the furthest end of the parking area. Allow 30 minutes travel time from downtown Blacksburg. Please bring water, snacks, and good hiking shoes. We'll see you there!
