Description: Victory Restoration Church presents The American Prodigal Tour featuring Crowder, special guest Jimi Cravity and Young Escape on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Bondurant Auditorium located within Preston Hall on the campus of Radford University.

Three-time Grammy-nominated Christian artist Crowder will bring his American Prodigal Tour to Radford University.

David Wallace Crowder known by his mononymous stage name Crowder since 2012, is an American Christian folktronica musician. Folktronica is a type of music that combines folk music and electronica. It often takes traditional acoustic instruments, such as banjos and guitars, and mixes in elements of dance rhythms or hip hop tracks.

Over the past two decades, David Crowder has developed a reputation for lyrically powerful, musically intricate and eclectic songs that have been sung everywhere from churches to mainstream clubs. Since his 14-time Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated David Crowder Band broke up in 2012, the singer-songwriter has recorded two hit crossover albums and several hit singles as a solo artist.

His 2014 debut album, “Neon Steeple,” debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200, hit #1 on the Christian & Gospel albums chart, and was named iTunes’ Christian Album of the Year. Crowder garnered multiple radio hits, including “I Am” and the Grammy-nominated “Come As You Are,” as well as a Grand Ole Opry debut and a Dove Award.

His second album as a solo artist was released in the fall of 2016. "American Prodigal" debuted at No. 12 on the US Billboard 200 best-selling albums chart. "My Victory" was the first single off the album, reaching Top 10 territory on CHR.fm. "Run Devil Run" was released to Christian rock radio.

Jimi Cravity is a Christian musician based in Atlanta, Georgia who primarily plays a style Christian pop, EDM, R&B and hip hop music.

Working initially in secular music, Cravity signed a publishing deal with Bu Vision/Universal Music Publishing Group in his early twenties, writing and demoing songs that would make their way to artists like Usher and Ludacris.

By 2012, he'd begun his own career as a recording artist with a hopeful Christian message. Following his debut EP, Maverick, Cravity tragically lost his two-year-old son to cancer and became involved at Atlanta's Passion City Church, where he eventually began to lead worship. After appearing at the church's annual Passion Conferences, one of his songs was included on the church's popular 2016 studio release, Salvation's Tide Is Rising.

Capitol CMG recording artists/songwriters Ryan Johns, McKenna Johns, Kyrsten Johns, and Luke Johns are the young escape from Southern California. The siblings grew up watching bands like Audio Adrenaline, tobyMac, and Hawk Nelson at festivals, dreaming that one day, they could do the same thing. The band has always had a love for upbeat, exciting live concerts, which is why they try to craft high-energy sets that inspire people to get out of their comfort zone, and to break free from the currents of culture.

Ranging from 20 to 14 years old, the young escape hopes that their EDM, Alt-Pop, Rock music inspires people to escape from whatever is holding them down, and to dream like they’re young again.
