The Virginia Cooperative Extension and Pearisburg Community Market presents the 2017 Touch A Truck & Children's Agriculture Day on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Pearisburg Community Center. Bring the kids for a fun day of learning about agriculture and exploring big trucks! Children will be able to explore all of the big trucks and equipment as well as visit the different stations to learn about beef, dairy, horses, wildlife, and more! There will also be live animals on site and lots of giveaways will be available for the kids. Breakfast and lunch will be served and available for purchase by the Pearisburg Woman's Club and Pearisburg Community Market vendors will be on site for shopping. The 3rd Annual Scarecrow Festival in downtown Pearisburg, VA will also be happening on Wenonah Avenue and Tazewell Streets from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
