The Chance Harman Memorial Fund presents the Chance Harman Benefit Basketball Game featuring Oak Hill Academy vs Massanutten Military Academy on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Floyd County High School starting at 7:00 pm. Oak Hill Academy is home to one of the preeminent high school basketball teams in the country featuring dozens of NBA alumni and hundreds of NCAA Division 1 basketball players. As a private school, Oak Hill plays a national schedule facing the top high school basketball teams in the country and routinely wins the prep national championship. Massanutten Military Academy alumni feature professional basketball players and every student athlete that has played a season at the academy has gone on to earn a full scholarship at the next level. Kids wearing Chance Harman Memorial Fund gear will receive free admission. The Chance Harman Memorial Fund was established after the Floyd County High School Men's Basketball Coach's son, Chance Harman, died at the age of four. Chance battled a cancerous brain tumor.
