Downtown Blacksburg Inc. presents Shop Small Downtown Family Events on Saturday, November 25, 2017. We want to share Small Business Saturday® with you! It’s a holiday shopping tradition that celebrates small businesses like ours in downtown Blacksburg. And it wouldn’t be a celebration without customers like you joining us. We will have lots of fun filled family activities throughout the downtown all day. Schedule of Events: • 10:00 am: Free Family Film Fest showing Toy Story at The Lyric Theatre • 10:00 am - 6:00 pm: Voting for Holiday Trees in Kent Square • 10:00 am - 6:00 pm: Voting for Micah's Backpack Gingerbread Houses in Kent Square • 11:00 am - 4:00 pm: Holiday Treasure Quest in Kent Square • 11:00 am - 5:00 pm: Frog on the Shelf Instagram Scavenger Hunt begins • 11:30 am: Small brass section from Blacksburg Community Band at Market Square Park • 12:00 pm: The Wilderness Road Chorus, carol singing at Kent Square • 1:00 pm: The Wilderness Road Chorus, carol singing on Henderson Lawn Stage • 2:00 pm: The Wilderness Road Chorus, carol singing at Capone's Jewelry • 3:30 pm: Small group from Blacksburg Community Band in Kent Square • 4:00 pm: Story time with Joelle in Main Street Inn with cookies & cocoa Set off on an adventure in The Holiday Treasure Quest from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm at Kent Square to solve riddles while you search for clues and hidden holiday treasures. Bring the whole family, fun for ages 3-12. Children will receive a free gift! In addition, there will be free swag bags given out to customers while stocks last at participating stores.
