The New River Valley Home Builders Association presents the 2018 Home Expo starting on Friday, March 9, 2018 through Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. 2018 Home Expo Hours: • Friday, March 9th from 4:00-8:00 pm • Saturday, March 10th from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm • Sunday, March 11th from 12:00-5:00 pm The NRVHBA has put all your home care needs into one convenient location in the New River Valley, the Christiansburg Rec Center. Whether you are looking to build a new home or remodel your current one, this is the place to be. We will have a floor full of local, trusted professionals who are available to answer your home care questions, provide you reliable resources and quick quotes, as well as show you samples of their skills and services. In addition, there will be How-to Clinics. Join one or several of the How-to Clinics that will be running throughout the Home Expo. In the past, we have showcased topics like how to choose paint colors to edible gardening to home security. Bid on items such as tools, appliances, massages, dinners on the town, date night packages and so much more at the annual Silent Auction. Proceeds go to support the NRVHBA Scholarships, other charitable projects in our community, and the NRVHBA events such as Touch A Truck. There will also be a Cooking Contest on Saturday starting at noon. Watch three local non-profit organizations battle it out "Chopped" style for a $1,000.00 grand prize.
