Palisades Restaurant presents the 9th Annual Celebrity Chef Dinner on Saturday, March 24, 2018. The annual Celebrity Chef Dinner is the culinary event of the year and promises a sumptuous dining experience in a beautiful and elegant setting not soon forgotten! Bringing in renowned chefs from across the country, the dinner provides an all-inclusive, multi-course meal with wine pairings, along with an hour long champagne and hors d’oeuvres opening reception. Joining our own Chef Tim Davis and Pastry Chef Matthew Kluttz will be: • Chef Torrece Gregoire, Hell's Kitchen Season 14 (Pulaski, VA) • Chef BJ Dennis, Gullah-Geechie Cuisine (Charleston, SC) • Chef Sterling Wright, Hell’s Kitchen Season 13 (Nashville, TN) • Chef Tim Nelson, The Porch Kitchen (Hilton Head, SC) There will be music downstairs with Bobby Parker and upstairs with Marc Baskind. Held for the first five years as part of the James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour, The Palisades Restaurant has since taken the charity local, with proceeds benefitting the Giles County Summer Lunch Program. The program provides lunch for students during the summer months when school is out of session. Over 50% of students in Narrows and Pearisburg receive free or reduced lunch during the school year. he proceeds from the Celebrity Chef Dinner allow the program to offer healthier food choices and more extensive transportation services for those children living in outlying areas of the county year round.
