Description: Warm Hearth Village presents an Author Talk with Panthea Reid on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Warm Hearth Village Center.

After the death of her husband, Panthea Reid wrote “Body and Soul: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Healing,” about their life together and her reactions to his sudden demise. The genre is known as a “grieving memoir,” but Reid also offers sound advice and resources for others trying to recover from loss.

She is the author of other books, and has been an NEH Fellow, a Fulbright lecturer and president of the South Central MLA. Reid holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is emerita professor of English at Louisiana State University.
