RunAbout Sports presents the 2018 Downtown Sundown 5K® on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in downtown Blacksburg, VA as part of the Summer Solstice Festival. Schedule: • 3:00-8:00 pm: Packet Pickup at Summer Solstice • 8:00 pm: Registration Deadline • 8:30 pm: Race starts • ~9:30 pm: Awards Ceremony Run the streets and trails of Blacksburg at sunset! The Downtown Sundown 5k® starts and finishes on Draper Road in the heart of the Summer Solstice Street Festival featuring crafts, live music, food, drink, and more. The 5K course loops from downtown through Blacksburg on roads and paved footpaths. All miles will be marked. Water will be available. Participants can register online, in person at RunAbout Sports or on race day. Race day registration will take place on the lawn of the Alexander Black House from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
