Draper Community Park Event: Walk to Bryson's and More!:

Date: April 28, 2018
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Venue: Draper Community Park
Description: The Draper Community Park Committee presents a special event featuring "A Walk to Bryson's" at the Draper Community Park on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

The event features a variety of activities including the Greatest Field Trip Ever, a "Walk to Bryson's", where participants can enjoy hot dogs, ice cream, soda and candy. Participants can also enjoy soccer with Mike Price, former Draper student and current Pulaski County High School soccer coach and former Draper coach Bob Mckinney and a foul shooting contest on the new basketball courts.

Bring your kids, grandkids and friends to reenact, remember and share the memories of the elementary school walk and other fun activities of yesteryear and catch up with classmates, teachers including Mrs. Cain and Mrs. Kiser and friends.

Limited concessions will be available for purchase.

In addition, the four note card set featuring buildings from Draper Elementary School will be on sale and you can also purchase a tree leaf or dove to remember or honor someone on the donor tree that will be located in the end of the picnic shelter.

Lawn chairs are encouraged.

Our new Draper residents can experience what many of us grew up doing at the school property. We will also discuss items such as landscaping, benches, signage, steps, playground, and other improvements that are going to be needed to complete the park.

In addition, visit the Draper Community Center (old Home Economics building) to see the progress on the renovation and see the plans for the new pavilion.

Donations are greatly appreciated and all proceeds will benefit the Draper Community Park.

In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
