Description: The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation presents the 4th Annual Gospel Sing, part of the New Town Festival series, at the St. Luke & Odd Fellows Hall in Blacksburg, VA on Saturday, June 2, 2018.

The afternoon will be filled with singing, dancing, and fellowship as local groups and soloists perform their favorite current and old-time gospel favorites.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Back by popular demand, Chef Richard Perry of Long Fin Grill will offer a traditional fish fry.

Former residents of New Town – an African American neighborhood in Blacksburg during the time of segregation – will participate in a panel discussion to share what life was like living in New Town.

The event is free, though donations are encouraged.
