Description: New River Valley Fairgrounds hosts the 2018 New River Valley Horse Show starting on Thursday, May 24, 2018 through Saturday, May 26, 2018.

The New River Valley Horse Show features classes for American Saddlebreds, Hackneys, Arabians, Miniature Horses, Quarter Horses, Standardbreds and timed events featuring cash prizes and awards.

• 27. ($15) Roadster Pony Under Saddle
• 28. ($20) ASB Junior/Novice Three-Gaited Park Championship
• 29. ($15) Arabian Open English Pleasure
• 30. ($20) ASB Country Pleasure Driving Championship
• 31. ($15) ASB Amateur/Juvenile Three-Gaited
• 32. ($20) ASB Hunter Country Pleasure Championship
• 33. ($20) Trotting-Type Country Pleasure Championship
• 34. ($15) ASB Adult Show Pleasure
• + 35. ($25) Amateur Roadster Pony Championship (52” & Under)
• 36. ($20) ASB Juvenile Three-Gaited Park Championship
• 37. ($15) Arabian Hunter Pleasure
• 38. ($15) ASB Show Pleasure Driving
• 39. ($15) Open English Pleasure
• 40. ($15) ASB Adult Country Pleasure
• 41. ($20) Open Walk/Trot 12 & Under Championship
• 42. ($ 5) Lead Line – Held during intermission between performance

The New River Valley Horse Show has its roots in the Pulaski Horse Show which originated over 106 years ago. The Horse Show is a qualifying competition for the Kentucky State Fair and American Saddlebred Horse Association (AHSA) High Point Awards.

Admission is free for every session for spectators.

Spectators are asked to park in designated parking areas. Please keep parking areas around the barns free for owners, trainers and exhibitors.
