Description: The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley and the Town of Pulaski present the 2018 Sounds of Summer Concert Series Kickoff featuring the music of Domino on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Jackson Park.

The Domino Band is a high-energy horn band based in Roanoke, Virginia, specializing in classic R&B, Soul, and Old-School Funk! The Domino Band is all about preserving the classic soul, R&B, and funk sounds of yesterday, updated with their own flavors of today. If you enjoy Al Green, Tower of Power, Earth Wind and Fire, Marvin Gaye, Kool and the Gang, and other R&B-influenced artists of the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s and today, you'll love The Domino Band.

Domino has backed the legendary Percy Sledge and opened for Delbert McClinton, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees The Impressions, and country music superstars Tracy Byrd, Trace Adkins, Trick Pony, Diamond Rio, Tracy Lawrence, and Blake Shelton.

Domino members have performed or recorded with The Stylistics, Sister Sledge, the Temptations, members of Tower of Power, Chicago, the Doobie Brothers, Santana, The Headhunters and more.

Food vendors and adult beverages will be available for purchase beginning at 5:30 pm. The music starts at 6:00 pm.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Bring your chairs and/or blankets. No outside coolers permitted.
