Sapphire Ballroom & Dance Center presents a Beginner Dance Workshop featuring the Carolina Shag and Rumba on Friday, June 15, 2018. Summer is in full swing - don't you think it's time you got in the "Swing," too? Grab some friends (or come on your own) and come out this Friday to Sapphire Ballroom's Cheaper-Than-A-Movie Beginner workshop and learn to do the Carolina Shag, the official Swing dance of the south and summertime. Then get to know the slow and mellow Rumba, perfect for dancing "Under the Boardwalk, down by the sea." Both dances are great for summertime festivals or dancing on the deck with friends or sweethearts. To top the evening off, you get a sneak-peak of one of the featured dances for next week, the Merengue, a Latin dance favorite! All dances taught from the beginning so no experience is required.
