Phoenix Hardwoods Woodworking Shop presents a Woodworking Shop Open House as part of the Mountains of Music Homecoming starting on Friday, June 8, 2018 and continuing through Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm daily. Visit our Woodworking Shop and see how we make furniture from local Virginia hardwoods! We mill our slabs from unusual local trees, and cure them for years before kiln-drying. Our one-of-a-kind, finely finished furniture and gifts are made with much traditional joinery, often using live-edges. Woodworking demos all day. From Slab Stools, to Beds, Tables, Boxes, and Cutting Boards, there’s something for everyone! Admission is free and all are welcome.
