The Newport Jamboree presents their June 2018 Jamboree featuring the music of Dale Cash and County Connection on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Newport Community Park. Musician Dale Cash plays guitar and performs good old classic country and folk tunes, and some of those songs you know by heart. Come on by, tap your foot, sing along, and enjoy acoustic tunes. Its members include Pam Landreth on bass, Frank Garman on guitar, Garry Williams on banjo and Melvin Linkous on fiddle. We will ask for a $5.00 donation from each adult to cover the bands and pay for the park rental. Kids under 12 get in free. Bring a chair, pack a swimsuit and invite a friend. The Village of Newport Ruritan Park is conveniently located 1.4 miles down Highway 42 / 650 Bluegrass Trail keep your eyes peeled for the signs off of 460 West.
