Virginia Tech Football presents the 5th Annual Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Indoor Practice Facility. Schedule: • 3:00 pm: Hokie Kids' Club Members doors open • 3:15 pm: General Public doors open • 4:00 pm: Autograph Lines close Fan Appreciation Day allows fans to get autographs from their favorite student-athlete Hokie football players and select Virginia Tech football coaches including Justin Fuente and Bud Foster along with other entertainment provided for young children. Athletics will provide free posters to be signed by the football student-athletes and coaches. However, outside items are allowed. Only one (1) item per autograph station may be signed. Sharpies will be provided to the student-athletes and coaches. The event ends promptly at 4:30 pm with autograph lines closing at approximately 4:00 pm. The HokieBird and members of the Virginia Tech Spirit Squads will be available beginning at approximately 2:15 pm outside the stadium entrances. Once the gates are open, the HokieBird and Spirit Squads will be available inside. Admission is free and all are welcome. Parking is also free. Beverages and light items will be available for purchase, as well as free sampling inside the practice facility. Concessions will be located outside of the practice facility. No outside food or drink, besides water, will be permitted inside of the practice facility. Free water in coolers will available for fans inside the practice facility. Note: No posed photography will be permitted. The Virginia Tech Indoor Practice Facility is located at 530 Callagan-Sheridan Way in Blacksburg, Virginia between Lane Stadium and the Merryman Athletic Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.
