2018 Appalachian Laser Tag Festival:

Date: August 11, 2018
Time: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Venue: Pandapas Pond
Organizations: Laser Tag Club at Virginia Tech
Description: The Laser Tag Club at Virginia Tech (LCaT) presents the 4th Annual Appalachian Laser Tag Festival on Friday, August 10, 2018 and Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Pandapas Pond.

Tentative Saturday Schedule:
• 9:00 am: Player Orientation / Skirmish Games
• 12:00 pm: Lunch
• 1:30 pm: Games
• 5:15 pm: Group Photo
• 5:30 pm: Leave for Dinner

This event provides fun for all! Come for a morning, afternoon, evening, or the entire event. Laser tag games will be played outside in the woods and are similar to airsoft or paintball games.

The Laser Tag Club at Virginia Tech will be providing equipment. If you have the same equipment or a modified version of the equipment, please feel free to bring it.

Playing is free though AA battery donations are always appreciated.

Registration is greatly appreciated to provide a count of participants. To register, visit: https://sites.google.com/a/vt.edu/alf/registration.

All ages are welcome, but event organizers will not assume responsibility for youth under 18 years of age. As such, a parent or designated guardian/group leader should be present.

Competitors are to bring their own lunch and water since there is no running water at this facility.

All competitors will need to complete and sign (or have their parent/guardian complete and sign) the Release From Liability form. Blank forms will be available at the event or you can download at https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=sites&srcid=dnQuZWR1fGFsZnxneDo3ZTk0OTc3NTNmOWYzNTZh.

Note: Caldwell Fields was not available this year so the Appalachian Laser Tag Festival has been moved to Pandapas Pond and, because of the switch of venues, there will also be no camping this year.
