2018 Kiwanis Wilderness Trail Festival (UPDATE INSIDE):

Description: UPDATE from 12:15 pm: At least 95% of the vendors (NextThreeDays included) have packed up and the Kids Zone and Entertainment were cancelled. I wanted to let those know who were planning on venturing out.

The Kiwanis Club of Christiansburg presents the 45th Anniversary of the Kiwanis Wilderness Trail Festival on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in downtown Christiansburg, Virginia.

Celebrate history, culture, and tradition at the Wilderness Trail Festival. The festival is always a full day of fun and excitement for the entire family loaded with great local artisans and crafters, classic cars and street rods cruise-in on College Street, two stages of live local entertainment, Kid's Zone with free activities, craft demonstrators and delicious food from area restaurants and other local vendors. New for 2018 is the Home Improvement Row.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

This year there will also be a special Friday evening concert with bluegrass greats Wayne Henderson and Helen White in The Celtic Hall, the former Main Street Baptist Church, starting at 6:30 pm. Tickets are required.

The event is rain or shine.
