Summer Musical Enterprise presents "Sweeney Todd the Musical, The Demon Barber on Fleet Street" with performances starting on Thursday, August 23, 2018 through at Haymarket Theater located within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech. The Summer Musical Enterprise (SME) was formed in the fall of 1992 as a result of the production of The Music Man. SME has produced a major musical every summer from 1992 to present. The organization has attempted to provide a musical theatre outlet for families in the area and is structured to allow all members of a family to be involved in the production. The opportunity for the youth to be involved in the productions provides a rich learning environment that is consistent with the creative fabric of our community.
