India Garden Restaurant presents Wynn Yang in concert on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Wynn Yang is a musician, producer and audio engineer based in the Virginia Beach and Southwest Virginia area. Starting from humble beginnings in his garage with The Silent Majority, Wynn Yang has moved to playing shows from Blacksburg to Yorktown. A Virginia native, Wynn Yang started playing music in the public schools of Yorktown, Virginia. He started as a member of the symphonic band all while playing shows in local pop punk bands as a guitarist. Wynn is currently a Music Technology student at Virginia Tech who is studying voice and the world of audio under the direction of Amy Cowan and Michael Dunston. He is currently a member of the New Music Ensemble, Tech Men, and the laptop orchestra of Virginia Tech (L2ork). During his time at college, Wynn has released an extensive amount of Hip Hop music which he self-produced. He currently plays shows with his band: Speakeasy, an energetic jazz/hip hop group that will bring you the originality you won't hear in the mainstream.
