Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center presents the 2018 Chili Cook-Off Competition hosted by the VT Foundation on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Wikiteria Market and Cafe patio. During your lunch hour treat yourself to a variety of chilis where you decide who wins! Admission is $5.00 per person and includes tastings, water and live music by The Generations. Schedule of Events: • 11:30 am: The Generations begin to play, Gates Open and Ticket Sales begin • 11:45 am: Tastings officially begin with horn blow • 12:30 pm: Announcement made for tasters to place their VOTE • 12:30-12:45 pm: Tally the official voting • 12:45 pm: Best Chili and Best Decorated booth winners announced All proceeds go to the American Heart Association. The Generations are a six-piece classic rock and popular dance tunes band based in the New River Valley, Virginia area.
