Bull & Bones Brewhaus & Grill presents their 2018 Oktoberfest Celebration with The Sauerkraut Band on Friday, October 12, 2018. Join us as we celebrate our roots and throw down a huge Oktoberfest party featuring music and entertainment with The Sauerkraut Band starting at 8:00 pm! The Sauerkraut Band is a professional musical organization based in the New River Valley in Southwest Virginia performing authentic German style music in traditional Bavarian style clothing. The musical styles include traditional beer tent favorites such as Leichtensteiner Polka, Rosemunde (Beer Barrel Polka), Alte Kameraden Marsch, Yorkshire Marsch, and group-participation numbers such as The Chicken Dance and Rucki Zucki. Comprised of over a dozen members, the band’s repertoire spans a wide range of polkas, waltzes, and marches, as well as folk dances such as the landler, schuplattler, and zwiefache. Enjoy food from our seasonal menu celebrating German-style cuisine and enjoy our annual brew Festbier, a true Munich style Oktoberfest beer, rich with malty flavors and about 6.9% ABV. Unlike your darker Oktoberfest beers, this style is lighter in color (straw yellow) and isn't as heavy as Marzen style Oktoberfest brews.
