Description: Fort Hope History Tour Guide Service presents a Driving Tour of Rock Churches of Floyd, Patrick and Carroll Counties on Monday, January 28, 2019 with two pick-up locations including Sinkland Farms in the New River Valley.

Step back in time as we travel along the Blue Ridge Parkway and other beautiful countryside back-roads to visit and explore six historic rock churches built in the 1920's by Rev. Bob Childress. His remarkable life is not only heartwarming, it is the inspiration of the book "The Man Who Moved A Mountain".

What's Included:
• Local, knowledgeable guide that will answer your questions and share facts and stories of the sites we visit.

The tour will last 6-8 hours depending on your pickup location. Estimated drop-off is 4:00 pm at Sinkland Farms and 5:00 pm at the Winston Link Museum & Visitors Center in Roanoke.
