The New River Valley Regional Theatre presents The Pulaski Radio Show with After Jack on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Pulaski Theatre. Enjoy the January edition of the Pulaski Radio Show featuring music from After Jack. Named 2014 Americana Vocal Group of the Year by the Appalachian Cultural Music Association, the trio After Jack couples a modern sensibility with distinctly old-time energy to blend bluegrass, gospel and folk elements. Enjoy great music, loads of laughs, audience participation and a wonderful evening of fun at the historic Pulaski Theatre! Imagine a cross between Prairie Home Companion and the Carol Burnett Show, and you have the Pulaski Radio Show, recorded live in front of an audience. Produced by the New River Valley Regional Theatre, there will be regular characters, a guest host, a guest band or more, a funny sound effects man that doesn't always get it right, and an occasional show theme where everyone can come dressed (or not) for the chance to win a prize. After Jack is a musical celebration of togetherness. Named 2014 Americana Vocal Group of the Year by the Appalachian Cultural Music Association, the trio couples a modern sensibility with distinctly old-time energy to blend bluegrass, gospel and folk elements.
