Chateau Morrisette presents their Spring Winemaker's Dinner on Saturday, March 23, 2019. Our Winemaker's Dinner invites you to celebrate spring with fresh dishes specially paired with a wine for each course. Our winemaker will interpret the wine pairings, talk about new wines in the cellar and entertain any wine questions you may have. Dinner Menu: • 2018 Vin Gris • Smoked trout brandade, cured egg yolk • 2017 Petit Manseng • Endive, black walnut, Fourme d’Ambert, apple vinaigrette • 2017 Chardonnay • Lobster vol au vent, “tartar” soubise • 2015 Cabernet Franc • Duck confit raviolo, wild mushrooms, duck jus • 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon • Lamb shoulder stew, mint, pistachios, prunes • Cherry Wine • Dessert to follow Guests will have an opportunity to sample pre-release wines during the evening. Light reception begins at 6:00 pm with dinner service to follow at 6:30 pm. Dinner will last about 2.5 hours. The cost is $95.00 per person includes wine, tax, and gratuity.
