The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents their Essential Oil Series with the fourth class "The Science Behind Essential Oils: Powerful Compounds" on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Have you ever wondered if essential oils really work and if so, how? In this workshop you will learn the chemical compounds that give essential oils their power and how they work in the human body. Each guest will leave with a chart listing which essential oils are most effective for each body system. The cost is $10.00 per class for Friends of the Garden members or $50.00 for all six. Classes for the general public are $15.00 per class and $60.00 for all six classes. Essential Oil Series will hold classes every 3rd Wednesday from April through September from 12:00-1:00 pm. Register the Monday before each class or for the 6 class series by emailing vtgarden@vt.edu. Class sizes are limited to 16.
