The Handmade Music School presents the Square Dance at The 2019 Floyd Get Together on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Floyd EcoVillage. Enjoy an evening of square dancing with a stellar lineup of musicians and callers in a hall with great sound and wooden floor. Primary callers include Becky Hill and Hannah Johnson and bands will be made up of staff musicians from this year's Get-Together. Bands may include the following: Alice Gerrard, Elizabeth LaPrelle, Emily Spencer, Kilby Spencer, Greg Canote, Jere Canote, Riley Baugus, Mac Traynham, Andy Buckman, Jake Blount, Trevor McKenzie, Gina Dilg, Joseph Dejarnette, Dylan Locke and Stephanie Wolf No matter the band, the dance will be a great way to spend Saturday night with some of the best musicians in old time music! The cost is $8.00 for adults and free for children 12 and under. The event is open to both the public and this year's 2019 Floyd Get Together participants.
