Chateau Morrisette presents Sunday Sounds with Cocobolo on Sunday, July 21, 2019. Cocobolo, a band that blends magic and mystery into melody, plays thought provoking, entertaining original music written by it’s members, all of whom currently call Southwest Virginia home. You are sure to love the creative and intricate leads of Bob Dillard, a lifelong guitarist, who brings excitement to the stage with his enthusiasm and skill. The sensitive and seductive bass accompaniments of Christopher Luster, playing electric stand up fretless bass, often surprisingly with a bow, the foot tapping rhythms and grooves of percussionist T.G. Williams, and the warm vocals of singer, Stella Trudel, whose commitment to writing original lyrics and singing from the heart weaves stories into harmonies that stir emotions and leave listeners wanting more.
