The 2019 New River Valley Fair will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 through Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the New River Valley Fairgrounds in Dublin, VA. Tuesday Schedule of Events: • 9:00 am: American Dairy Goat Show (Livestock Arena) • 2:00 pm: Gates and Rides Open • 5:00 pm: Giles County School of Dance (Wysor Building Stage) • 5:00 pm: Dairy Cattle Costume (Livestock Arena) • 6:00 pm: 4-H Share the Fun Talent Showcase (Wysor Building Stage) • 6:00 pm: Caprine Contest (Livestock Arena) • 7:00 pm: Horse Pull (Livestock Arena) • 7:00 pm: Aftershock in Concert (Wysor Building) • 7:00 pm: 6th Annual Praize Hymn Gospel Concert w/Eddie & Sherry Richards and Tommy Griffith (Back Porch Stage) • 9:00 pm: Tie Out - Livestock Enjoy six days of fun at the New River Valley Fair, a true country fair since 1872! From 2:00-3:00 pm only, enjoy free gate admission. After 3:00 pm, gate admission is $1.00 for adults and free for children 6 and under. Every day activities include: • Midway Rides from Cole Rides • True Country Fair with Agricultural Exhibits & Livestock Shows • Free daily shows with Hogway Speedway Racing Pigs, Goats & Ducks • Buffalo Beals Petting Zoo with Camel & Pony Rides Available for Purchase • Fair Food Favorites • Special Volvo Trucks display all week • NRV Fair's Groovy The Cow • Miss Relay For Life Giles County Pageant Winners • Princess Squad Ballet by Miss Rachael Gate admission allows you entry into the fair, rides are an additional cost. You can purchase a Pay-One-Price Wristband to ride unlimited rides or purchase individual tickets to ride a specific number of rides. Some entertainment options will have an additional cost. Note: Rides are typically 3-6 tickets. The New River Valley Fairgrounds is located at 5581 Fairgrounds Circle in Dublin, VA. Directions: Take Interstate 81 and take Exit 98 towards Dublin, VA then merge onto Route 100 North and travel three miles and the Fairgrounds will be on the left.
