Full Moon Hike:

Date: September 14, 2019
Time: 8:30 - 9:30 PM
Venue: Claytor Lake State Park
Description: Claytor Lake State Park hosts a Full Moon Hike on Saturday, September 14, 2019 beginning at the Water's Edge Meeting Facility.

What critters do you think may lurk along the trail in the dark?

Join the rangers as we explore the park in a different light. Learn about the nocturnal lives of our park's inhabitants and a little astronomy as well as we watch the Full Moon rise over Claytor Lake. Then take a hike on Poplar Leaf Trail by the light of the moon to a campfire with S'mores included!

The hike will begin at the Water's Edge Meeting Facility.

Admission is free, however the parking fee of $7.00 per vehicle still applies.
