Thee Draper Village presents an Interactive Dinner Theatre titled "Daisy's Redneck Wedding" with performances on Friday, September 20, 2019 and Saturday, September 21, 2019 at both the Chapel and Draper Mercantile. Join us for a knee-slappin', pig-lovin', foot-stompin' ceremony and reception featuring hors d'oeuvres, barbecue dinner, garter, cake (hope it makes it to the cutting!), bouquet catfight - uhh... we obviously mean bouquet toss, live band, dancing, cash bar, and all the fixings of a real wedding except that it's done by professional actors of the New River Valley Regional Theatre! You actually feel like you're in the middle of a situational comedy (which you are). You can be a fly on the wall and watch all of the fun, or join in and participate, the choice is yours. Daisy's Redneck Wedding is an original show written by The New River Valley Regional Theatre specifically for the Draper Mercantile. With great acting, and songs by several of the performers, each performance also feature's a local/regional bluegrass band during the reception. On Friday, Gate 10 performs and on Saturday, Cabin Creek Bluegrass Band performs. The cost is $50.00 per guest. Reservations are required and seating is limited. Call the Merc' at 540-200-5668 to make your reservation. Bring a group and even feel free to dress in the theme of the evening. Join in on the dance floor for a line dance or just watch the wedding party craziness unfold. The New River Valley Regional Theatre is a professional theatre producing plays, musicals, and more.
