As part of National Drive Electric Week and Blacksburg Sustainability Week 2019, Sustainable Blacksburg presents an Electric Car Display on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1715 Pratt Drive inside the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. Join us for a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Are you considering going electric? Talk to owners who have successfully done so. And if you're interested in how to pair an electric vehicle with solar, there will be local solar installers on hand to answer your questions! Admission is free and all are welcome.
