Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and Sustainable Blacksburg present a Shop and Dine Fundraiser for the Susan Garrison Sustainability Fund at participating location on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 as part of Blacksburg Sustainability Week 2019. Susan Garrison, much–loved and admired Sustainability Manager for the Town of Blacksburg, passed away in February of 2013. A tireless environmental advocate, she helped establish Blacksburg’s first Sustainability Week, launched the community’s Climate Action Plan, and championed nearly all of the Town’s sustainability initiatives. If you shop or dine at one of the participating downtown establishments listed below a percentage of sales for the day will go toward Susan’s Fund and will help us launch citizen-initiated projects that make Blacksburg a greener and more beautiful place to live, work and play.
