The Virginia Tech Police Department presents their 8th Annual Community Day on Saturday, September 21, 2019 on the Virginia Tech Drillfield. Students, employees, and the general public are invited to attend the free event that will include activities for people of all ages and to learn more about the award-winning and nationally accredited police department. We will host a plethora of first responder equipment displays, Police K9 demonstrations, Carilion Life Guard Medical Helicopter landing, drunk goggle carts to simulate driving under the influence, two obstacle courses, photo booths, the Hokie Bird and other community partners displays. You can also compete in our donut eating contest and the Dunk A Cop water tank. We will have free pizza, kettle corn and popcorn while supplies last.
