Plenty! Farm presents the Annual Floyd County Seed Swap and Potluck on Saturday, February 1, 2020. Get and give free seeds. Share them if you got them to spare, take them if you'll plant them. Why not try something new in this year's garden? There are always pleasant surprises. Veggies, flowers, herbs and ornamentals, all varieties are welcome. Got extra plants to give away? Bring them! Additionally there will be an optional potluck. Be sure to bring seeds that were properly stored for viability so other gardeners will have success planting them. It is also helpful to provide information such as seed source, year saved, variety name and any other characteristics you would like to share. There will be some envelopes provided, but bringing your own is strongly encouraged. This year we have seed donations care of Peaceful Valley Farm Supply. Admission is free and all are welcome to join us. Plenty! is a 501c3 non-profit that nourishes community and preserves Floyd County traditions by encouraging neighbors to grow and share food while enlivening the greater conversation about sustainable food practices.
